Okay... I practically bombed the forum a while back trying to upgrade it. Sucky.

Well... it's MOSTLY FIXED. The forum is back and working, but my awesome Vana'diel Heroes style theme is not back yet. This is because I did the repairs from a place where I don't have access to those files. I'll get it back up soon enough.

I'm back in game on an erratic basis. Mostly playing as my mule Refinedblade. So... yea... not sure what'll happen to Heroes, but I'm playing on occasion.

I'd like to take a moment to congratulate Suugabaabe, Bystroi, and Drizilu on acquiring their Soboro Sukehiro on this successful January 25th 2009 run. Congratulations guys, now don't get carried away with being damage happy by hitting mobs 2 to 3 times in a row. *** warning *** This may upset your tanks when they are trying to keep hate XD *** warning ***

As per the recent posting from Driz, I felt it necessary to post a bit of status.

I am not currently playing FF-XI, nor do I think I will play again anytime soon. I apologize for the sudden hiatus and also for the long-standing lack of information.

A number of different reasons prevent from play FF-XI. Foremost is disinterest, a point that pains me. Despite my general proximity to finally attaining Level 75, as well as the advent of the Level Sync function I cannot seem to muster the ability to accumulate interest in the game.

Second, is a technical matter. I have two methods of choice for playing the game. PC or Xbox 360. My PC is fast approaching its 8th birthday and as such has not been a viable platform with which to play the game for some time. My 360 provides a great platform for playing, but due to other interests and system priorities such as NXE and my ever growing collection of Rock Band tracks, the limited 20 GB hard drive cannot hold all the data I need for my Xbox stuff AND FF-XI. I have recently had to delete it to make room for other things.

Lastly, is life. Life just... gets in the way sometimes. I have however found time to pursue other hobbies and interests that had long been dormant during my time of adventuring through Vana'diel.

After 4 years of an on and off relationship with Vana'diel, I am proud of what I have accomplished and sad of things I have not. Perhaps one day, should my situations improve, I shall return once again and rain firey blaack mage destruction upon my foes. I do not when, or even if, that day will come.

For all intents and purposes, I'm retired. Though at times, I do not wish that were the case. I do have to agree with Driz, it seems a shame to waste this site I poured so much love and effort into.
